Here (.doc file) is a paper on the possibility of resurrection from a materialist (the resurrection of the body rather than the resurrection of the soul or what have you) perspective. It's pretty great, though perhaps dense at times. It's by Notre Dame philosopher Peter Van Inwagen and called "I look for the Resurrection of the Dead and the Life of the World to Come."

Christos (Greek) means annointed or Messiah (from the Hebrew). Mapping them directly onto savior results in a loss of meaning, I think.

Not sure about # of religions.

Luther (and especially Melancthon) worked hard to preserve the Catholic liturgy by declaring it adiaphora.

Easily.

Humility, I think. But not all traditions pray head down either.

He didn't get many dates and knew more than his teachers did. So, arguably yes.

You might like Improv Everywhere:

http://www.improveverywhere.com

They're this comedy organization here in NYC that does some amusing things out in public. They're not ALWAYS funny -- much of the time, they're kinda "meh" -- but they have some great stuff.

Like the video where they have a bunch of people go into The Strand (this huge bookstore) and check their bags (which is a requirement, so that people don't steal) with their phones in them, and then a bunch of other people call the phones, so suddenly the bags all start ringing.

Or the one where they all go into the train station and then everyone freezes at the same precise moment for about five minutes, and then they start moving again.

Check it out for yourself, it's pretty cool.
